DJ Jazzy Jeff Takes Us To A 'Vinyl Destination'

Having the opportunity to travel around the world is reserved for a fortunate few. I mean us common folk may go visit a grandma in Kentucky or an auntie in Texas from time to time. Hell, you may even see a wall in China at some point in your life, but to truly travel around the world is a rare feat. Unless you're a world-class DJ of course. Well DJ Jazzy Jeff and director Christopher Schafer did us all a favor by capturing some choice moments from his gigs around the world over the past year. This Vinyl Destination video captures footage of Jeff spinning over four continents and far too many countries to mention along with appearances from Redman, Snoop Dogg Lion, Questlove and Skillz. I realized a few things while watching this video: Skillz spends his days doing a whole lot more than ghost-writing and penning "Rap-Up" tracks, Chris Martin would make one hell of the lead in a Latin band and Jeff's blend of Rihanna's "We Found Love" and Whitney Houston's "I Wanna Dance with Somebody" serves as proof that songs about lonely women on the dance floor will never go out of style.
