Allow BenZel To Blow Your Mind With 'Fallin' Love'

While I continue to be blown away by the fact that Japanese production duo BenZel are only in their teens, I am even more intrigued by what is going in their imaginations to create such left-of-center tracks from some of my favorite 90's R&B jams. First it was the Jessie Ware-assisted "If You Love Me" Brownstone cover "Say It" that we filled you in on a few weeks back, and now it's their take on SWV's 1997 hit "Can We," which is reworked on their latest track "Fallin' Love." But don't hit play expecting to recognize the sensual R&B hit, as the duo have completely dismantled the track and put it back together, along with some elements of Craig David's "Insomnia," in a disjointed yet hypnotic way that will blow your subconscious wide open and have you travelling musical planes that you didn't know existed. Have a listen to and download "Fallin' Love" via SoundCloud to hear what the future sounds like.
