The Layabouts Remix Reel People & We Get 'Butterflies'

At the end of last month we brought you news of a new release from Reel People, a 30-track compilation to celebrate 10 years in the game. That wasn't the end of the celebrations though, as they are about to unleash part two, 10 Years of Soulful Bliss: The Remixes. Although famous for remixing the work of others, their back catalog has also been a goldmine for various DJs and producers looking for something to sink their teeth into, so this collection should be well worth checking out. As a taster of what's to come you can hear a three-minute snippet of label-mates The Layabouts' take on "Butterflies," one of my favorite Reel People tracks ever, featuring the silky vocals of Dyanna Fearon. This track is exclusive to this compilation and will sit alongside remixes from the likes of 4hero, Domu, Ezel, Restless Soul, Pete Kuzma, Louie Vega, Frankie Feliciano, Joey Negro and more. This looks like an essential pick up four all the house-heads out there come December 9th.
