Tanek Montgomery Just Wants To Say 'Hey Girl'

We've been introduced to Tanek Montgomery through his first two singles, "Lovin' You Better" and "Hey Girl," and now we have a visual for the latter. Where "Lovin' You Better" was a smooth jam (and the better single) about his limited ability to love his woman the way she needed to be loved, "Hey Girl" doesn't even consider love, instead contemplating a little escapade with the next P.Y.T. to jump in his car. For all the talk about wanting a girl to hop in his ride, he never was actually in one during the video. Instead, we find him solo in a recording studio until a respectable young woman just happened to walk through as if she was strolling through the mall. He pretty much reacted as if he actually was a dude in the mall, but I can't be mad. He looks like he was having fun. Over the course of the video, he sang, he removed varying articles of clothing and he exchanged googly eyes with the not-groupie. Unfortunately, she had very important business to tend to before he finished the song, so as she departed, she left behind the universal symbol for letting a guy knows you're interested -- an earring. While that wasn't at all awkward (read: it was very awkward), him cutting the recording session short to run after her like the Prince ran after Cinderella may have been. Did Prince Charming get the girl? Maybe he did, maybe he didn't. You'll have to watch the video to find out for yourself.
