Tamia and Eric Benét stopped by TVOne's Verses & Flow studio to each perform one of their own singles before reuniting for their 1999 duet, "Spend My Life." Since I hadn't listened to the song in a while, I'd forgotten how absolutely beautiful it is, and how well their voices blend together. If I had been standing, their performance would've brought me to my knees -- it was stunning, and the audience responded accordingly. Too bad they sat and stared at Tamia like she owed them money for most of her performance of "Beautiful Surprise." She did great, but I guess they just weren't ready. Benét fared a little better with crowd participation and wooed the ladies with "Harriet Jones." Stellar performances across the board, but it's the "Spend My Life" clip that I've kept on repeat.
