After teaming up with Floating Points for the stunning Follow You EP last year -- which produced my personal favorite song of 2011, "Mind" -- Fatima is back, this time with Eglo Records labelmate and regular collaborator Funkineven, with a four-track EP entitled Phoneline. Besides an August 6th release date, details are thin on the ground, but the good folks over at PINBOARDblog have a radio rip of the song "90s" for your listening pleasure. True to its name, the track has a laidback '90's vibe, with Fatima's smooth-as-butter vocals adding a touch of soul to proceedings.
