Just ahead of the August 28th release of Greater Than One, Dwele gives us all another taste of what's to come. With a bass line taking me back to "People Make the World Go Round" by The Stylistics, Dwele's latest has me leaning on the past, but grooving to the sound of the future. On "What You Gotta Do," the Detroit native joins forces with Raheem DeVaughn, aka the R&B Hippie Neo-Soul Rock Star, to remind us that to recapture the magic in our romantic relationships, sometimes we need to toss our baggage and take it back to the early days before life hardened us to the world. This song definitely falls on the chill side of the tracks, and the changing tempo keeps it interesting.
