If You Didn't 'Love' Ne-Yo's Latest Single, Maybe You Will Now

Have you ever listened to a new song and not really like it until you saw the video? I thought that is what would happen after I finally got a chance to see Ne-Yo's video for "Let Me Love You (Until You Learn to Love Yourself)." Although the Euro-pop dance direction of this Stargate and SIA production was my chief complaint on first listen, what would the video be without dancing, and lots of it? Ne-Yo and his dancers are doing it until the wheels fall off (or until you like the song) in this high energy Christopher Sims-directed video, and I even had the urge (against my will, of course) to do the same. The hitmaker loves telling a story and continues the one that began with "Lazy Love," having his lady appear in a few scenes alongside his fit, partially-clothed physique between dance clips. While "Let Me Love You" still doesn't have a spot on my playlist, there are plenty of other people who will take to this sound. The Motown Records executive will release R.E.D. (Realizing Every Dream), his fifth album, on September 18.
