Get Ready To Go Diggin' In Jill Scott's 'Crates' With This Remix Album

Hidden Beach sure is milking this for all it's worth getting a lot of mileage outta Jill Scott's back catalog. After releasing last year's The Original Jill Scott From the Vault Vol. 1 of unreleased material from the singer's secret stash, they're back at it with a remix album on the way. Jilly from Philly fans will soon get to sink our teeth into Crates: Remix Fundamentals Volume 1 - Jill Scott Spring Summer Feeling when it's released on June 26th. Included here are remixes from DJ Jazzy Jeff, Kyle West and Ron Trent as well as Mr. Mig, Ca$e Boogie, and Jaymes "Th3ree Fourteen" Ball. I'm unfamiliar with those last three, but all I know is that they better bring it on their remixes. Jill's work has been remixed extensively before, but this is the first collection of previously unheard remixes. But they won't stay unheard forever, with the album's release a few weeks away and a mixtape curated by DJ Alan King available for free download now via CratesRemix.com. You can also hit the bounce to get a taste of what to expect on this project on Ron Trent's soulful house refix of "Spring Summer Feeling."
