This past spring, Bay area producer/rapper Ayentee hit us with his Mos Common Thought (Frankensteined Vol. 1) project. This 10-track mixtape has the artist playing mad scientist as he pieces together verses from, Black Thought, Common and Yasiin Bey (I'll never get used to the name change, Mos Def) into some impressively crafted tracks. Well it looks like this jack of all trades had an ace or two up his sleeve as he hits us with a bonus cut from the project. The eleventh track features verses from the
three lyricists' songs "Ecstatic," "Glitches," and "The Game." Many of us may be already familiar with the verses in their original form, but I'd have to say that it's definitely refreshing to hear a blend that doesn't shame the creator and listeners alike.
