In spite of, or perhaps inspired by Burger King's crispy chicken-gate, Mary J. Blige has released a visual for "Don't Mind." If you didn't already know, the perfectly good song served as the basis for her infamous chicken wrap serenade. Hopefully viewers will be willing to forgive and forget the whole debacle in order to give the video for what I consider one of the hottest joints off of My Life II...The Journey Continues (Act I) a chance. The June 2012 Essence magazine cover girl is looking fierce at 41 outfitted in a slinky, backless number with a plunging neckline. The video is visually dark and simple, keeping the focus all on Mary as she laments failed attempts to destroy her relationship and expresses an everlasting love (no Tony Terry) for her man. For the most part, it's just her, a stool and a screen. There's also a requisite Mary in shades scene, and her signature bounce makes an appearance.
