It Ain't 'Hard' To Tell Why We Love DivaGeek

Maybe it's just me donning the cranky skinny jeans this 2012, but I can think of about six or seven albums that have dropped this year that have literally floored me -- while the rest have made wonderful coasters on my coffee table. DivaGeek's He Said, She Said is no coaster for my appletini though, it's constantly spinning -- even right now as I type this up -- because well, it's that good. The duo of Vula Malinga and Ben Jones bought and "soul-ed" me with their debut and their impeccable penchant for '80's popping funk, and I just can't get enough. Plus have you heard Vula sing? That voice wins all the awards. Well, to continue on my music geek love for He Said, She Said, it's nice to take a front row seat and see Vula, Ben and their band in their element just gliding on through "Go Hard," one of my favorite cuts from the album. For futher divageekiness, feast your ears and eyes on performances of "Oh La Laa" and "He Said, She Said" from months back. You'll be oh so glad you did.
