At a time when artists seem to be dropping new albums or EPs every five seconds, the days of actually working a project seem to be behind us. It no longer is about the quality of the music, but just how fast one can churn out something else. Which makes it all the more the rare that nearly a year after its release, Little Dragon's Ritual Union is till rolling along, collecting new fans and accolades along the way. Something else they've been accumulating since the album's release is a whole gang of remixes. Right off the top, I can't think of another project that has been on the receiving end of so much remix love as this one. A quick SoundCloud search pulls up tons of reworked versions of LD songs. The latest to throw his hat into the ring is newcomer Bufi with his take on the album's title track. The house producer, who hails from Mexico City, shapes and molds the original into a bonafied electro jam. As if we needed another reason to keep LD in rotation.
