It's certainly been a while since we heard from Angie Stone. Three years ago she released the slightly underwhelming Unexpected, but prior to that Ms. Stone could always be relied upon to deliver a soulful groove, complete with killer vocals. Her sixth album, Rich Girl, is due to be released this summer and if the first single, "Do What You Gotta Do," is anything to go by then this could be a return to form for the industry veteran. Complete with funky guitar work and a soul clap or three, Angie delivers on this mid-tempo number that sounds like it would have been right at home on Black Diamond or Mahogany Soul.
