Will You 'Love' How Kamilah Sumner Operates?

Chicago singer Kamilah Sumner is on her grind. The sultry-voiced, Bounce-Worthy songstress recently released the video to "Never Bring Me Down," the first cut off of her album Once Upon A Sumner, which was also featured in the Coors Light Search For The Coldest contest. While that simmers, she's also preparing to put out her second single "Love Operator," a song that will have you bobbing your head from jump. "Love Operator" revisits the Mary J. Blige song "I Love You" (itself a sample of Isaac Hayes' work) to tell the story of a woman looking for love on the hotline. Kamilah has the same hunger and hurt in her voice that made this such a memorable Mary J. track and her harmonies are still on point. I look forward to seeing how her hard work and beautiful voice pay off.
