New York City Bouncers, your eyes do not deceive you. N'Dea Davenport -- yes, the N'Dea Davenport -- is coming to the Big Apple for a concert on Wednesday, November 23rd at B.B. King Blues Club. She may be rolling without her Brand New Heavies brothers in tow, but that doesn't mean that her show will be lacking any fire. We haven't heard any solo material from her since her first and only album, 1998's N'Dea Davenport, but she's been quietly working on a new project with Japanese producer Katsuya who joins her in the duo Celectrixx. Word is that their music consists "of dub rhythms, electronic beats, and infused dark soul," and we can't wait to hear what that sounds like.
