Liam Bailey & The Dynamic Set Ask 'When Will They Learn'?

British soulman Liam Bailey first appeared on our radar with the Salaam Remi-produced "You Better Leave Me," a smooth slice of dub-soul that acted as the perfect vehicle for Liam's gritty vocals. We were given a further taste of his upcoming debut LP, Out Of the Shadows, with the second single, "It's Not the Same," which rode a similar dub/reggae vibe, but now things seem to have gone a little quiet, especially concerning the now overdue release of the album. I'm guessing it's not going to hit shelves until sometime in 2012 now; however, we do have some new material from Liam to tide us over.

Before signing with Amy Winehouse's Lioness Records (for an EP release) and Polydor Records (for his main LP), Liam traveled to NYC to lay down a couple of tracks with indie label Truth & Soul, the results of which are now being released as a series of 7" vinyl singles. The first sees Liam, backed by The Dynamic Set, with a stripped-back, rootsy reggae number entitled "When Will They Learn," the video for which can be seen right here.
