Keith Robinson Gets His 'Hustle' On

Keith Robinson may have snagged another acting role as the ex-husband of Tatyana Ali's character on TV One's original sitcom Love That Girl, but that doesn't mean that he's left singing behind. Quite the contrary for one of the vocal standouts (in my opinion) from the movie Dreamgirls where he played Effie's brother C.C. White. Robinson has been hard at work on an album, and we can now hear and see the fruits of his labor in the music video for the single "My Hustle." He takes us from the streets to the stage and shows how real in the field an artist's struggle can get. Produced by RZA (he of Wu-Tang Clan fame), the song has its inspirational moments as Keith croons about following his dreams and imagining what could happen once he does. This is definitely a departure from what we heard from Keith on the Dreamgirls soundtrack, but that's not a bad thing at all.
