Last night I had the pleasure of checking out Beverley Knight's new Soul UK tour in support of her most recent cover album of British soul classics. With support from Electric Empire and the legendary Omar it was definitely not one to miss. There will be a full review of the show in the coming days, but while re-living the experience via YouTube this morning I came across this footage of Beverley singing one of her own hits, "Gold," at the previous night's show. The performance I witnessed was almost identical and proves, once and for all, that Beverley is a massively underrated vocalist.
