We gave you the scoop back in August about DJ Center's Everything In Time Remixed album, which finally got released this week. The Sam Champ remix of "You Got the Love" featuring Gretchen Parlato got us open, but that was just the tip of this musical iceberg. Remixes have been included by DJ Spinna, J. Rawls, Waajeed, Applejac, Captain Planet, DJ Eleven, Joe Blaxx, and DJ OBaH. That's an impressive roster of turntablists, producers, and remixers if there ever was one, and each brings their own distinct flavor to their productions instead of simply reheating leftovers. Congrats are definitely in store for the homie Applejac who scored two placements on the album with his remixes of "You Got the Love" and "In a Song" featuring Middle Child, which is my personal favorite from the entire set. Kudos also go out to DJ Center for having the idea to give his original collection of songs a new life.
