Afro-Blue Made Us 'Wanna Dance' On 'The Sing-Off'

Last night The Sing-Off returned with the top 10 a cappella groups going head-to-head in two groups of five with the field narrowed down to eight advancing to next week at the end. Fans of Afro-Blue were both dancing in their seats and hanging by the edge of them when the SoulBounce faves unbelievably were on the brink of facing elimination. After you watch their performance of Whitney Houston's "I Wanna Dance With Somebody" below, you won't be able to wrap your mind around that either. They sounded damn-near perfect, their arrangement had three movements in less than two minutes, and they exhibited some fancy footwork in the first Soul Train line I've seen on prime time in a long time. However, certain judges were rather harsh in their critiques, with Boyz II Men's Shawn Stockman showing once again that he's by and far the only one who know what he's talking about. Thankfully Howard University's finest survived a nail-biting last few minutes of the show when it was announced that they would be staying and going through to next week, which means we'll be there to cheer them on.
