The fall television season is rapidly approaching. Wanna know how you can tell other than it being mid-August? Well, you've probably noticed commercial after commercial promoting new fall shows and seen television stars popping up in the most random of places. Take, for instance, Community regular Danny Pudi who is the star of Raphael Saadiq's shiny new video for the song "Day Dreams." Why the actor from the NBC sitcom is even in this Saadiq clip is beyond me, but so is the fact Raphael's record company keeps dropping videos from Stone Rollin' in rapid succession (there are now five videos for the album's ten songs). A total 180 from "Movin' Down the Line (Don't You Go Away)," the visuals for "Day Dreams" lack the intimate charm that video had but makes up for it with a little comedy as Pudi is seen walking around town picking up items and people along the way and bringing everything and everyone to his lady's house. The sheer absurdity of it all makes it cute and fun to watch once or twice, but that's about it.
