When I heard that Hollie Smith and Mara TK were teaming up to release the album Band Of Brothers Vol.1, to say I was excited would be an understatement. As a fan of both artists solo material, as well as various collaborations with other Kiwi artists, I had a feeling that the results would be nothing short of great. The one-minute teaser/trailer provided a miniscule glimpse of what we would hear come August 2nd, but now the official first single, "Lives For Living," has surfaced and my expectations were justified. Hollie's strong-yet-subtle vocals glide over Mara TK's beautiful production and backing vocals with ease. In fact, I'd go as far as to say this is probably the nicest vocal I've heard from her. Anticipation for Band Of Brothers Vol.1 has just increased tenfold.
