Much like a box of chocolates, you never know what you're gonna get with a Cee-Lo Green performance. You rarely see the same show twice (at least amongst his televised performances), which is what I love about the rotund rapscallion. He switches his style up with an array of sequins, feathers, lace, assorted fine fabrics, and even wigs.
He donned a 1920's conk/deep fingerwave situation and milky white zoot suit last night on The Voice to perform his song "Bright Lights Bigger City" backed by a big band and with a bevy of dancers dressed in garb from the era. This was an enjoyable hoot. The only thing that bothered me, though, was how winded Cee-Lo was while singing. Maybe he needs to holla at Not-So-Fat Joe or get on Kanye's workout plan to get right for the summer.
