With two of the GOATs of hip hop on one record, you would think that the outcome would be as glorious in practice (or at least their past work together) as it is on paper, right? Well, yes and no. Don't get me wrong, Busta Rhymes and LL Cool J sound pretty good on "Killin' 'Em," rhyming rings around some of these microwave rappers of today. The track itself -- even with a flip of the famous refrain from "Jingling Baby" -- is what's lackluster here; it doesn't make me want to nod my head, break my neck, or make my booty go clap. It's a pity that something is clearly missing, because it's quite evident that Bussa Bus and Uncle L still got it, which we knew about the former and is great to learn about the latter.
