Hats off to those good folk over at PINBOARDblog/PINBOARDfilm who, in association with Red Bull Music Academy, have been churning out some quality films as part of their "Rehearsal Rooms" series. The latest installment sees Raphael Saadiq in the studio performing a stripped back, acoustic version of "Good Man," taken from his soon-coming LP Stone Rollin'. I've heard the album, and I have to admit that, thus far, the album isn't doing much for me, however ,"Good Man" and one or two other tracks have been getting regular rotation, and I'm absolutely loving this version. Now all we need is PINBOARD and RBMA to release an EP of these live performances.
