I hope this comes as no surprise to any of you, but I never liked Raphael Saadiq's The Way I See It. I much prefered Instant Vintage and all variations of that sound that he managed to muster. Unfortunately for me and those who share my view, Stone Rollin, Raphael's fifth studio album due this year, features more of that '60s-era groove. As much as I tried, I couldn't get into "Radio" even though I made myself sit through the entire song. Now that there are visuals to accompany the single, I'm not feeling "Radio" anymore than I did yesterday, but at least I can sit with the fact that perhaps the other tracks may be more up my alley. I highly doubt it, but in the meantime, for all of you that enjoyed this track, rejoice! This video is for you. [H/T: RS]
