This weekend Syleena Johnson blessed her Syleegion of Twitter followers with "My Shoes," the first single from her upcoming new album, Chapter 5: Underrated, and it's more of what we've come to expect from the soul-stirring diva. Previously promising to release a treat for fans with every 5,000 followers she got on Twitter, Johnson jumped the gun and posted this new track to YouTube a thousand shy of her goal. Clearly she's as excited about her new music as we are, as well she should be because she sounds phenomenal in the follow up to "Another Relationship" from Chapter 3: The Flesh. "My Shoes" finds Syleena asking her man what he would do if she treated him as foul that he treated her. The song is deep and thought-provoking, and she delivers it with passion and heartfelt honesty. There's no release date for Chapter 5 yet, but trust and believe that this album is one to look out for in 2011.
