About a month ago London experienced a serious injection of soul courtesy of the Atlanta Soul Session, featuring relative newcomer Avery*Sunshine and indie favourite Anthony David. Unfortunately, I couldn't make the sold-out event, but thanks to the wonder that is YouTube we can all experience a little bit of what these two had to offer. They each performed seperate sets, but came together to close out the show with a version of Anthony's "4evermore," which originally featured Algebra Blessett and Phonte. Avery steps into Algebra's shoes comfortably, and Anthony even spits a few bars a la Phonte. These two have great chemistry, let's hope they decide to work together more in the future.
