I love Faith Evans. Like hoard. And as much as I really didn't like "Gone Already" on first listen, this video makes me dislike it even more. And believe me I wanted to. After the mimes--cringe--and the multicolored, illuminated jazz fingers, I still hung in there. Even after I spotted a former contestant of Omarosa Stallworth's Ultimate Merger reality show cast as Faith's love interest in this video. Even after remembering that Faith had shown up to this video shoot after her recent run-in with the law. The thing that irks me the most is watching someone with so much indisputable talent be packaged in such a way that is not worthy of her stature. Faith is still beautiful and sounds lovely as always, but here's to hoping that the next video is a significant step in right direction.
