There hasn't been much coming from Mark Ronson's direction since his last album Version dropped a couple years ago. However, he's returning this fall with a new project, Record Collection, credited to Mark Ronson & The Business due to the numerous guests on the album and the various musical styles he's once again exploring. The first single, "Bang, Bang, Bang," exemplifies this with its pop meets hip hop meets electronica style joining Ronson with Q-Tip and MNDR on the track. The video is a trippy affair featuring all three in an '80s-based Japanese television performance with synthesizers galore, lasers and break dancers. Personally, I'm just happy to see Tip on the mic again. Isn't it about time for a new album from him?
