Sometimes the Internet can be charming, right? Take the work of UK-based artist Sarah Doyle, who created a short video of watercolor animations based on women doing a variety of dancehall dances. The background track has no horn, no rapid-fire patois, no bass. It sounds like a one of those wind-up mobiles that you use to put babies to sleep or a music box. I never thought that the dutty wine could veer toward cute (although it must be said that the dance does have its own charm, so to speak) but leave it to some creative interpretation and the web to prove me wrong.
