I'm not going to say much in the form of criticism when it comes to the video for "Hold On" by Idris ElbaKing DRIIS. What is has going for it is that it's produced by 9th Wonder and Idris is really working the heavily-laden patios accent. Shadow acts as the lyrical foil to Idris' obvious motive to get the ladies and their male friends interested in them and hence the track. 9th Wonder doesn't disappoint with the beats, which is not entirely interesting. DRIIS and 9th have collaborated before on "Private Garden" and the results were more than decent. The formula seems to be patent, I'm just waiting for my mind to accept what I'm hearing. Give it a look and a listen and let us know what you think.
