'Motown @ 50' Presents Fifty Videos About the Legendary Label

Since it's the 50th Anniversary of the formation of Motown Records, the Detroit Free Press took it upon themselves to unearth and document some stories from the label's history. Fifty of them, to be precise. From ruminations on the difficult move from Detroit to Los Angeles to the tale of how Stevie Wonder played a typewriter and telephone at his audition, these short videos offer excellent insight into what propelled the label to the influential status it has today. Each vignette is well-executed and features appearances by some of the behind-the-scenes folks whose talent and effort often goes unrecognized. After the bounce is the first video of the series that profiles the production team Holland-Dozier-Holland. (Warning: it autoplays.) It's highly recommended that you watch the rest here. [H/T: DFP]
