New Videos From Mavado, Lykee Li, Nina B. & Bangladesh

This week's new video roundup features an eclectic bunch. First up is the latest Jamaican dancehall king, Mavado, with a pretty formulaic video filled with lots of skin and brown liquor for his song "I'm So Special." Too bad there's nothing special about the video. Although she's not soul, R&B or hip hop, a lot of heads are feeling Lykke Li, and her video for "Tonight" is a stripped down, black-and-white affair. The basic clips fits the tone of the song and just goes to show that sometimes you need to keep it simple (note to Jazmine Sullivan). Third at bat is femcee Nina B. who jumped on Jay-Z's "Brooklyn Go Hard" and did a pretty respectable job, but the real story is her eye-catching video filled with some way cool sketch animation. Brooklyn stand up! Last is
Bangladesh
who hopped on the "Diva" beat that he created for Beyoncé and did a two-minute commercial video expressing his love for "A.D.I.D.A.S." After hearing his ode to the brand and watching this video, I'll take Run-DMC's "My Adidas" over this any day.
