With Obama's Election, 'It's A New Day' For Will.I.Am

If you're anything like me, then you're more than likely still on a high after last week's historic election of Barack Obama as the 44th President of the United States of America. Obamania shows no signs of slowing down as he gets ready to take office in January and bring some much-needed soul to the White House. And, no, I'm not talking about soul music, but while I'm on the subject we can expect to hear more tribute songs for our President-elect in the days to come. One of Obama's most vocal supporters has been Black Eyed Peas frontman Will.I.Am who set it off earlier this year with the track "Yes We Can" in support of his candidate of choice, and last week he returned to the lab to concoct "It's A New Day" when said candidate won the election. Much like the video to the former song, the clip for "It's A New Day" is a star-studded affair with tons of celebrity cameos and footage from Obama's big night in Chicago's Grant Park where Mr. I.Am was on location. Listening to this song and watching this video has gotten me pumped up once again. Clearly my high won't end anytime soon.
