The recently reunited sixties and seventies soul super-group Labelle has announced some upcoming dates for the "Back To Now" tour, the group's first since 1977. This is far too long a time for them to have been absent from the stage. Nona Hendryx, Sarah Dash, and Patti Labelle didn't need alter-egos to bring the fierceness--they were among its originators. This tour comes on the tails of the release of Back to Now, their first in over three decades. Tis the season to gift concert tickets to your favorite auntie who still looks wistfully at that silver jumpsuit she wore in homage to Labelle all those years ago but can no longer dream of fitting into.
