Seal is going full throttle in preparation for the November 11th release of his new CD, Soul. Yesterday we heard his take on Sam Cooke's "A Change Is Gonna Come" and today we get to hear (and see) his spin on James Brown's "It's A Man's Man's Man's World" with the online premiere of the video. The clip features Seal suited up and singing in a room with a small orchestra. Not the most exciting concept, but it was the musicians that really caught my attention because I love seeing people of color playing instruments. As far as the song is concerned, let me put it this way... It was very telling--and amusing--for me was that Yahoo! Music classified the video in the following categories: Adult Alternative, Smooth Jazz and Soft Pop. Yup, no "Soul" in sight.
