First Look & Listen: Syleena Johnson's 'Labor Pains' Cover and Second Single

syleena_johnson_labor_pains.jpgAlthough her new CD Chapter 4: Labor Pains doesn't hit the streets until next January, we have the first look at the cover art from Syleena Johnson's latest collection of soulful sounds. Even with a tear rolling down her cheek and sadness in her eyes,  she looks absolutely gorgeous on the album cover.

Not only does Syleena look good on the outside of the disc, she sounds extra good on the CD as well. Her signature vocals and storytelling skills are showcased on "Shoo Fly," the second single from Labor Pains. Reminiscent of Jill Scott's "Gettin' In the Way," Johnson tells her man's ex that she needs to get gone before she gets dealt with. Any woman who has ever had a crazy baby mama interfering in her
relationship will be able to relate to this musical drama. After listening to this, it's quite clear that you don't want to get on Syleena's bad side.
