When we first heard that John Legend wanted to take his music in a new direction and go more commercial on his upcoming album, the side-eyes were fluttering like hummingbird wings over here at SBHQ. We're not the ones to knock a brotha's hustle, but when it comes to good music, which John knows how to make, if it ain't broke then why fix it?
However, upon hearing this snippet of the track "Green Light" from his new CD, we may just be changing our tune much like the good Mr. Legend has. This joint right here is pretty damn hot. The sound is futuristic funk and Andre 3000 sets it off with a few verses before the snippet sadly ends. Good golly, Miss Molly! Where is the rest of this song? We need this in our lives.

So, people, are you all giving this one the green light, or do you want him to pump his brakes and stop? Discuss.
