Despite the fact that Wu-Tang Clan have disappointed me over the years, like a true fan, I stay true to the Wu. So can someone please tell me why one of my favorite tracks, "The Heart Gently Weeps," off their latest album, 8 Diagrams, is missing not only Raekwon, Ghostface Killah, and Method Man who all contribute verses, but the person singing the song's hook, Erykah Badu?!? Imagine my disbelief when the song opens with an Asian woman in a kimono singing Badu's words. My side-eye is twitching so badly I have to go to the eye doctor. Is this cosmic payback for her singing Jill Scott's hook on The Roots' "You Got Me?" I don't know, but I know that RZA better get his domineering ways together before he starts pissing off his fans in addition to the rest of his crew.
