Apologies in advance for posting a Chris Brown video on SoulBounce, but I had to do it since he's taken it upon himself to remake "This Christmas" by Donny Hathaway. Young Chris isn't the first to redo this Christmas classic--and I'm sure he won't be the last--but enough already! It is truly a futile exercise trying to improve on perfection, but people insist on going there every year. And now it's Chris Brown's turn since he stars in the eponymous movie and all. Bah! Humbug!
I suppose that Brown does an adequate cover, but this one is definitely for the kiddies and those with a tin ear. Give me the Hathaway original any day, all day.
