Jennifer Hudson Leaves A Lasting Impression In 'Remember Me'

Jennifer Hudson is here, there and everywhere right now with a gig on the reality competition show The Voice UK, a role in the Netflix comedy Sandy Wexler and two new songs, "MR.DJ" from the film and her next album's first single, "Remember Me." The singer/actress is making sure to stay at the forefront of everyone's mind prior to dropping her fourth album and first on new label home Epic Records. She's also heavy on the mind of her video beau in the clip for "Remember Me."

Our play cousin in our head JHud is serving up fierce and fabulous in the visual that finds her strutting her stuff and belting out "Remember Me" alone in a warehouse with occasional flashes of dancers and their interpretive choreography. While she's singing about staying in her old flame's thoughts, we see him laying in bed looking lonely and moody. Hudson meanwhile happens upon a late-night rave, and she is drawn to the carefree dancers and the pulsating sounds of her own song. She exits her limo, walks through the crowd and gets caught up in the rhythm of the night. Jennifer keeps on strutting and walks right into her ex-bae who's sitting in his vehicle. She makes one last plea at the song's crescendo, and that's all it takes for her to be back in his arms again.

It's safe to say that she made quite an impression on him just as "Remember Me" has made quite an impression on us. This track has us looking forward to big things from this diva's direction in 2017.
