Leela James is gearing up to release her new album at the end of March, but Did It For Love won't be just a spring fling. The former R&B Divas: Los Angeles cast member is in it for the long haul and returns with her sixth studio album of timeless soul music. Led by the single "Don't Want You Back," Did It For Love features a dozen tracks, and from a look at some of these song titles -- "Don't Mean A Thang," "Good To Love You," "Our Love" -- Leela will be singing about both the bitter and the sweet taste of love.
The newly engaged mother of two is very in love, however, and she looks radiant in a hooded rhinestoned number on the album cover. Her signature big hair is under wraps, but she's easily recognizable and there'll be no mistaking who you're listening to when you press play and her rich vocal tone comes through the speakers.
