The singer released his latest album, It Is., back in May and he's kept a steady stream of videos coming to keep us fixed on his rhythm and bluesy magic. After getting some unique videos for "Power," "F**k U," "Hypnotized" and "Most Of All," featuring the singer's dance moves, in "Funk Outta Here" we get something a little unexpected. With its funky instrumentals, you may be surprised to find the subject matter is yard wrestling.
Like most of his videos, the visuals for "Funk Outta Here" take place in middle America, but this clip features a number of men whose expertise is fighting and not fighting fair. The song sets up the backyard scene, which gets pretty rough and bloody towards the end as men of all colors and sizes use chairs, chains and anything they can get their hands on to bout. Although it may be a little uncomfortable, keep watching to catch a cute little girl's reaction to the festivities that could be the perfect gif for our own thoughts about the video.
In true JMSN fashion, you can catch the singer at the end of the video equipped with a beer and looking triumphant with his winning smile.
