Esperanza Spalding, The Roots, Herbie Hancock & More To Play Richmond Jazz Festival

Virginia might be for lovers, but this August it will be the place to be for great music as the Richmond Jazz Festival returns for another great year of stellar performances. In previous years, the festival has included music giants like Jill Scott, Chick Corea, Ms. Lauryn Hill and the late, great Natalie Cole. This year will continue in that tradition with an unbelievable lineup of performers set to give attendees two full days of musical bliss.

Headlining acts for the festival include The Roots, Esperanza Spalding, Herbie Hancock, Vanessa Williams, Tamia, Wyclef Jean and Stephanie Mills. In addition to that star power will be other stellar acts like BADBADNOTGOOD, Arrested Development, Tom Browne & Jean Carne, Morris Day and The Time, Buckwheat Zydeco and Michael Franks. It looks like it will be a hot time in Richmond!

This year's festival will take place August 12th-14th, with tickets for Friday starting at $30 and Saturday and Sunday's tickets starting at $85.
