Kenny Lattimore found his way back into our hearts and our playlists when he dropped his long-awaited album Anatomy of a Love Song last year. The soulful crooner's effortless falsetto was sorely missed, and with songs like lead single "Love Me Back" and "You Have My Heart," he proved that his gift was in top form. Still, what this album cycle's been particularly short on are visual representations to go along with the lovey-dovey numbers. Kenny attempts to right this wrong with his latest video for album standout "You're My Girl."

Continuing with the casting from the clip for "Love Me Back," actress Nadine Ellis steps back into the role of Kenny's leading lady. However, instead of walking around a piano while the wind blows her hair to and fro, she puts on a sexy black dress and heels to meet Kenny for a surprise. The surprise ends up being a private and personal performance of "You're My Girl" with Kenny and his full band. Kenny even gets dapper for the occasion, donning a spiffy black velvet tux to serenade the lovely Ms. Ellis.

While the concept of the clip is definitely a cute one, we'd be lying if we said it wasn't a little been there, done that. Sure, Kenny doesn't have that major label budget to fall back on anymore, but a little bit of creativity can definitely go a long way and spells the difference between a video being sweet or superb. But, with a song so lovely, we can't really begrudge the man for giving us more romance. If you're in a romantic mood (or would like to get into one), you'll want to press play below.
