Break out the champagne! Soul-jazz singer Maysa marks her 20th anniversary in the music business this year. To celebrate the astounding accomplishment, the singer is going back. And by that, we mean she's releasing a new album entitled Back 2 Love. The set looks to be Maysa's most wide-ranging to date, with the singer taking on not just the soulful, jazz-influenced ballads we've come to know her for, but also contemporary R&B, inspirational pop and even a little dance music for good measure.

But Maysa isn't just doing it on her own. She worked with the likes of J.R. Hutson, Lorenzo Davis, Stokley Williams and Chris "Big Dog" Davis to bring the album to life. As well, she tapped Stokley and Phil Perry as guests on the record.

About the album, Maysa says, "The music is exactly who I am. Being a Shanachie artist, I was always given the freedom to express who I am musically but this time I feel like spiritually we all went to a pure place to get this music. The music represents who I am as a woman and a human being who lives to love people. As a professional singer I should be able to sing anything and my records are just me trying to love everyone. And that's why I am proud to be able to go from Jazz to R&B to Pop, etc."
