In case you haven't noticed by now, we're kinda obsessed with FOX's breakout hit Empire. The soapy family drama had us in its grips from week one, and we're tuned in every Wednesday night like clockwork to not only see what pops off but to hear the music that is central to the show. The talented cast and famous guest stars entertain weekly with original productions created just for Empire by Timbaland and his crew of producers.
Every Thursday after Empire airs, songs from the episodes go on sale on iTunes. But if you're tired of buying tracks one-by-one, then you're in luck because the Original Soundtrack from Season 1 of Empire will be released on Tuesday, March 10th. There'll be two editions -- Standard and Digital Deluxe -- of the soundtrack released. The Standard Edition features 11 tracks, while the Digital Deluxe Edition has a whopping 18 songs. Both versions will feature fan favorites "No Apologies" by Empire stars Yazz and Jussie Smollett and V.Bozeman's stunner "What Is Love" as well as songs that have yet to be aired from upcoming episodes by famous voices such as Mary J. Blige, Jennifer Hudson and Estelle. SoulBounce favorite "I Wanna Love You" by Smollett and his defiant "Keep Your Money" will find a home on the Digital Deluxe Edition.
