Spend Some 'Studio' Time With ScHoolboy Q & BJ The Chicago Kid

I'm not as big a hip-hop head as I used to be, but every once in a while I hear a hip-hop song that will capture my attention and not let it go. Right now, that song is ScHoolboy Q's "Studio," which I first heard when he performed it on Jimmy Kimmel Live with BJ the Chicago Kid a few weeks ago. That performance led me to listening to Q's new album Oxymoron and adding it into heavy rotation. It's this track in particular that gets the most play and finds ScHoolboy rapping to his lady for her to be patient because he's got to put it down in the studio first before putting it down with her. BJ puts it down himself on the chorus on the overall body roll-inducing hip-hop slow jam.

The music video stays true to the premise of the song with ScHoolboy Q making it do what it do in a studio and kicks it up a few notches with a little flirty FaceTime action and some brief NSFW flashes of breasts. Even after I had an "Is that a nipple?" moment, I have to say that the black-and-white visuals are sexy and tasteful and not sketchy and tacky. Press play to see for yourself -- just make sure your boss and and children aren't around.
